The Low Workbench 2.0 – A Mini Woodworking Bench with Lots of Features
Adrian Preda
Published on 12 Jul 2018Here is my new mini workbench, a combination of the first version and the lately planing board I did. Now it includes almost all the features I need in one tool, surface planing, against planing stops, or between bench dogs, straight edge planing, which can be used for both Western and Japanese planes, and a vise. It can be either clamped to an existing table or bench, or can work well too above friction pads, when not too much force is needed.
There are plans available for sale of this workbench! You can check them out on my Etsy store https://etsy.me/2K0Osrb

Mini Workbench (Extendable) – Scrapwood Challenge Ep18
Pask Makes
Published on 17 Nov 2018Plans for my Mini Workbench are now available here http://paskmakes.com/plans/
I’ve wanted to build a Mini Workbench for a long time and now I finally got around to it. Another project, hopefully in the near future is an outdoor workbench that will have no vices. That’s the reason I’ve built this Mini Extendable Workbench. I’ll be able to clamp it onto the outdoor bench and have lots of clamping options with the vice and dogs!
I didn’t go into too much detail with the vice build as I’ve already covered that in previous videos.
As always I’m happy to answer any questions.

The Paul Sellers Plywood Workbench | Episode 7
Paul Sellers
Published on 17 May 2019The completion of any project should always be exciting but when it’s your workbench there is something really special and unique about it. In this episode Paul uses methods for installing and fitting the bench vise which he has developed to guarantee a rock solid fit. The vise is, of course, your third hand. You do not want one ounce of movement in it. The jaw liners too must match the vise and the workbench for solidity. It’s all lifetime stuff for living woodworkers with style.

The Paul Sellers Plywood Workbench | Episode 6
Paul Sellers
Published on 3 May 2019Paul is now on the last few steps of completing the construction of the bench itself. He starts this episode by cutting and fitting the wellboard. Paul continues to cut two pieces of wood on the bandsaw, which are then glued in place on top of the wellboard. Once this is all finished, Paul moves on to retracting the screws from both apron pieces and replacing them with bolts. He then moves on to the finishing stages of planning the benchtop and making all things smooth. Paul then ends this episode by applying two coats of water-based finish.
Episode 7 will be released on YouTube on the 17th of May but you can watch it right now at https://woodworkingmasterclasses.com/…

The Paul Sellers Plywood Workbench | Episode 4
Paul Sellers
Published on 5 Apr 2019The leg frame joinery is a very precise fit and things can go wrong if you are not experienced with how to deal with what we call glue freeze. One of Paul’s leg frames starts to stick but Paul explains throughout the glue up exactly how he deals with stubborn assemblies for a successful outcome. Paul deals with accurate alignment and cutting of the inner apron pieces including the wedges. His unique wedging method guarantees perfect alignment of the leg frames to the aprons while at the same time allowing the leg frames to be detached for moving, etc.
Episode 5 will be released on YouTube on the 19th of April but you can watch it right now at https://woodworkingmasterclasses.com/…
