I tried to use David Ellsberg’s Doomsday as a source but he is so far up his own bottom that I wound up throwing it across the room several times and eventually gave up
Much more helpful was Command and Control by Eric Schlosser (2013), The Dead Hand by David Hoffman which includes a properly insomnia inducing discussion of chemical and biological weapons as well as nuclear ones, and The Bomb by Fred KaplanIncidents
