Many of the songs of World War Two live on until this day. I personally was surprised to find one or two familiar tunes when researching and I enjoyed listening to it while working on the episode. With the significant lyrics music nearly takes you back in time. Down beneath, I have made a list of YouTube links to the ten songs I enjoyed the most, in case you´d like to listen in! Is there a song you already know or particularly enjoyed?Cheers, Fiona

Finally a Spotify playlist of the war made by Karo, one of the finest editors in the world.
Please note that this is a playlist of historical Second World War songs, and as such contains one song which uses a slur that is anti-Japanese (and often hurled against anyone of East Asian ancestry) that is historically significant and relevant to World War Two. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5A014dSJs5UJsgL2dxKa3C?si=82937ab5ef194cba
