Despite Allied occupation, the situation of the Jews in North Africa hardly improves, in newly German-occupied Tunisia it deteriorates. Meanwhile, the world learns more of the details of the Holocaust — they cannot believe their ears.

As you will have seen in the video, December 1942 is the second time the world finds out about the gruesome details of the H*locaust. A mainstay of H*locaust Denial is to claim that the Nazis could never have gotten away with something at this magnitude without the world knowing … well they’re right; they didn’t, denialists are simply choosing to ignore that the world did know.

We often get the request to make one video that addresses all of the fallacies of denialism, but we will never do that. There are two main reason we will not. First of all this whole series shows the reality of what happened, and is in and of itself a rebuttal of their falsehoods. Second of all, it is pointless to try to discuss factually with someone who argues from a point of religiously following a doctrine. To offer a factual rebuttal assumes that they are misguided, or mistaken — that is not the case. The root reason for denialism is far more sinister: they agree with at least part of the Nazi ideology, presumably the anti-Semitic part is at the top of the list of what they agree with. In any case you can’t convince a believer with facts, because they have long chosen to ignore any facts that may challenge their beliefs.

So while we understand the impulse to answer it all directly, we instead chose to do our part to make sure that fewer people go down that rabbit hole into the dystopialand of Nazi horrors. We do that by making this series.
