The term is either used so broadly it becomes meaningless, or defined so narrowly that it&#8217;s only relevant to Mussolini&#8217;s Italian Fascism. <\/p>\n<p>But we can identify three key factors that, when all are present together, result in a system we can define as &#8220;fascist&#8221; in a sense that&#8217;s both historically based and general enough to be useful for analysis.
