Asiatic Hordes, Judeo-Bolshevistic Hordes, a myth that the Soviet people they were fighting were sub-humans who only fought by throwing themselves at the Germans as though they were some kind of insect or zombie. This is a myth, but has sadly worked its way into the mainstream historical narrative. While it is true that some Soviet offensives truly were poorly thought out and sent many to their deaths, it is absurd to say that this was the norm or how they won the war. After all, sending infantry in mass offensive waves was a tactic that barely worked in the First World War, and certainly wont work in the mobile Second World War. Zaitsev is a perfect embodiment of a specialized Soviet Soldier.

Also, join us on Reddit, we’re starting to use that more: https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldWarTwoChannel/

World War Two Published 11 Jan 2022 From the woods of the Urals to the burning city of Stalingrad, Vasily Zaitsev went out to hunt his prey.
