He is also known for his opposition to the Battle of Kursk (Operation <em>Zitadelle<\/em>) and the early deployment of the <em>Panzerkampfwagen<\/em> V Panther, yet some historians noted recently that many of Heinz Guderian&#8217;s claims are not backed up by archives.
