The British do land in Norway, but don&#8217;t necessarily rush to relief the Norwegian army. Meanwhile, Norwegian &#8220;traitor&#8221; and &#8220;failure&#8221; Vidkun Quisling rises to be the new leader of Norway \u2013 only to get rejected by Hitler again. Numerous powers are now trying to grab, restore or consolidate military or political power in Norway.
