Instead they believe it is a smaller model, meant to test the delta wing design \u2014 the triangular shape the plane was known for.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The delta wing was a relatively new concept at that point, so it required a lot of testing to determine whether or not it would perform well, particularly at supersonic speeds,&#8221; said Gregory.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Avro Arrow holds a special place in the hearts of Canadian conspiracy theorists &#8211; it&#8217;s &#8220;artisanal Canadian myth-making, hand-woven, fair-trade, and 100% organic&#8221;.
