Aside from the numerous problems involved with deciding what is and what isn&#8217;t &#8216;hate speech&#8217; (and who gets to define what it is), allowing the most timorous snowflakes to set the boundaries is a surefire recipe for tyranny. And besides all that, the expectation that you somehow have a <em>right<\/em> not to be offended is ludicrous. Being offended is good. Being offended is healthy. Being offended leads to self-examination. That&#8217;s how discourse progresses. Anything new is bound to offend at least one person.
