On the web. <a href=\"http:\/\/quotulatiousness.ca\/blog\/2018\/01\/19\/playboy-sues-boing-boing-for-linking\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">I&#8217;m not making this up<\/a>. Thankfully, common sense finally did triumph as <a href=\"https:\/\/boingboing.net\/2018\/03\/05\/playboy-lawsuit-over.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported on Monday<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In January, we let you know that <em>Playboy<\/em> had sued us. On Valentine&#8217;s Day, a court tossed their ridiculous complaint out, skeptical that <em>Playboy<\/em> could even amend it. <em>Playboy<\/em> didn&#8217;t bother to try.<\/p>\n<p>We are grateful this is over. We are grateful for the wonderful work of the EFF, Durie Tangri, and Blurry Edge, our brilliant attorneys who stood up to <em>Playboy<\/em>&#8216;s misguided and imaginary claims. We are glad the court quickly saw right through them.<\/p>\n<p><em>Playboy<\/em> damaged our business.
