{"id":31049,"date":"2015-04-18T05:00:26","date_gmt":"2015-04-18T09:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/quotulatiousness.ca\/blog\/?p=31049"},"modified":"2016-12-18T11:08:08","modified_gmt":"2016-12-18T16:08:08","slug":"bbc-radio-finds-two-of-the-only-people-who-have-never-seen-star-wars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/quotulatiousness.ca\/blog\/2015\/04\/18\/bbc-radio-finds-two-of-the-only-people-who-have-never-seen-star-wars\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC radio finds two of the only people who have never seen <em>Star Wars<\/em>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; and one of them is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/london\/2015\/04\/17\/star-wars-reeks-of-misogyny-sjw-satirist-punks-bbc-world-service\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Godfrey Elfwick<\/a>, who runs a parody <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GodfreyElfwick\" target=\"_blank\">Social Justice Warrior<\/a> twitter account:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Listeners of the BBC World Service\u2019s World <em>Have Your Say<\/em> programme were treated to a bizarre analysis of the <em>Star Wars<\/em> franchise today by a caller who claimed that \u201cDark Raider\u201d was a \u201cracial stereotype\u201d who listened to rap music and \u201cthe only female character ends up in a gold space bikini chained to a horny space slug.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Godfrey Elfwick is a student from Sheffield who regularly fools observers with his parody Twitter account, an off-the-deep-end \u201csocial justice warrior\u201d persona that tweets bizarrely and hilariously about racism, sexism, misogyny and other favoured topics of the political Left.<\/p>\n<p>Elfwick attracted the attention of the BBC World Service today, when he tweeted that he had never seen <em>Star Wars<\/em>.
