It’s easy to poke fun at people who worry about the ever-growing state involvement in everyday life … well, it used to be fun until the NSA’s incredible list of surveillance programs became known. Now, paranoia is the rational<\/em> state for anyone concerned with their privacy and freedom of speech. We had Godwin’s Law<\/a>, which provided a useful rule of thumb for when internet arguments had passed the point of no return. This is a rare example of an argument that meets the condition of Godwin’s Law (in the infographic), yet still remains relevant.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
