We’ve been doing this since 2001 – lots of small teams, forward deployed, doing that voodoo that SF does so well. They don’t make the news, which is a good thing.
One sharp officer, a dedicated team, can do more good where it counts (Philippines, Mongolia, Africa, Columbia etc etc) than a dozen brigades in the ass-end-of-nowhere Afghanistan. And they’re cheap, too.
